Caprices Festival, the famous mountain-top festival known for the incredible views and high-quality line-up announces phase 1 to their 18th edition. At the altitude of 2,200 meters, the iconic transparent glass tent awaits along with two additional stages. In the heart of the Swiss Alps, surrounded by mountains, forest, and of course, the most renowned electronic DJ’s. Caprice festival is back this September 2021 for two whole weekends of beautifully curated lineups, global night partners and brand-new stages for another unreal party! One look at this incredible view, you will have no doubt why Caprices has gained such a cult following. This festival should be on everyone’s bucket list!

Located in the picturesque ski resort of Crans-Montana in Southern Switzerland, this festival is hidden away in the corner of the Swiss Alps. This remains the perfect city escape to immerse yourself into the music whilst taking in the best views and freshest air. The three stages, Modernity, Forest and Signal, each provide their own unique experience. With more of the lineup still yet to be released, this year’s guests will be spoilt for choice.

The iconic greenhouse-like Modernity stage (pictured above) gives the feel of an open-air event with panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. This is no doubt one of the top venues in the world and the reason they won ‘Best International Festival’ in 2018. The Forest stage that was first revealed in 2020 takes you deeper into the woods for a more intimate approach. The 360 degree view of the forest in a circular cabin will have you lost in the ethereal music. Signal stage is this year’s newest addition, which will allow you to explore the Arnouva mountain even further with the finest techno artists within an industrial warehouse.

The first Friday on the Modernity stage comes out of the gate strong with back to back sets from Luciano & Ricardo Villalobos and Cesar Merveille & Alci. Each individually gifted and combined, magic! No better way to kick off this mountain experience. The rest of the weekend features Behrouz, Guy Gerber, Lunar Disco, Bedouin, Mathew Jonson (Live), and just when you thought it couldn’t get better, we roll onto the second weekend. Birds of Mind, Lee Burridge, and Masaya are just a few of many globally acclaimed artists. Wrapping up the whole event on the Sunday is Ben Klock, Berghain resident and legendary German, techno artist.

Forest and Signal stages will be hosted and curated by some of the top international party throwers. We will see Unum Festival, Picnic, Sunrise Romania, Techno Rave World and Epizode taking over the Swiss Alps across the two weekends. Phase 2 will reveal the lineup of these stages, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.

With next level audio-visual technology, luxury gastronomic experiences and spa & wellness centres dotted about the mountain, this is the perfect holiday to escape the outside world. Showcasing the finest artists in contemporary electronic music and award-winning views, vibing out surrounded by nature doesn’t get better than this.

Being one of the only festivals to go ahead in 2020 despite the pandemic, the team is well versed in delivering the event with the proper safety precautions in place. Following the recent news from the Swiss Authorities, this year the usual international crowd can definitely be welcomed back to enjoy the festival to its fullest potential. Lausanne is the closest city with it being an hour and a half away by car and about 4 hours from Milan. But don’t worry if you plan on coming from abroad. The closest airports are Geneva, Bern or Zürich, and then just a short train or car journey from there.

Tickets go on sale Thursday May 6th on the Caprices website… don’t miss out!

* The festival has confirmed that guests will receive a refund in any case
of cancellation due to the pandemic.
