Deep, energetic and soul-fuelled house, the way that Hector mixes his sets and records are measured to precision. Hailing from Guadalajare, Mexico – Hector started the craft of turn tabling at the age of 16. He decided to move to England’s capital and wounded up working in Phonica, gaining him a solid and diverse knowledge of records, from hiphop to jazz but mainly the essence of house music. Here, Hector came in contact with London’s vibrant scene and especially with Loco Dice, who took Hector under his wing and introduced him to the Desolat family. Hector stays true to his style and takes us on a smooth continuous journey trough this 124th MEOKO podcast, celebrating a sound with deep sub-ridden baselines and rhythmic grooves.

Hector will play at the USED + ABUSED UK Showcase on the 20th of April alongside Loco Dice and friends at the O2 Academy Brixton. Don’t miss him out!
