Introducing Amsterdam’s finest musical export – Lilith. Her tech-house tones have struck the right chord across Europe and releases are now coming thick and fast through Art of Dark, Wrong State Recordings and more. Her collaboration with David G-Tronic and time with Dennis Ferrer’s Objektivity crew have boosted her profile and abilities, but it’s when Lilith goes solo that she really flies. She has created a special mix for MEOKO called Meet Mercury – a nod to the planet’s current retrograde movement, the effects of which Lilith recognises in everyday life. With a meditative opening that steadily picks up over the hour, this tech-house mix is a subtle but powerful exploration of sound with plenty of textural and melodic surprises towards the end. Intricate mixing of deep bass bounces, disembodied vocals, creaks, warps and sound experimentation, held together by a forward pushing percussive tick.
