With so much music relentlessly being released, it can be hard to define what makes a record stand out. We believe the answer is versatility and dynamism.
Na Zare EP on Dirty Hands from label boss Per Hammar and Body Parts owner Olga Korol delivers both and proves to be a cut above the rest offering tracks for the warm up, the peak time and the afters. We even have the pleasure of a galactic remix from Pressure Traxx boss Arno to sweeten the deal.
The A-side goes off with a bang with title track Na Zare. This rolling number has you hooked from the start with a pulsating bassline, aggressive kicks, tripped out samples wobbling underneath, and eerie vocals from Olga herself.
Second track Yard B is a track for the afters, a track that people remember and would forever be trying to ID. The bouncing bassline is stripped back yet enticing, while off beat, crazy twangs are peppered across the track, catching you off guard in the best way.
On the flip we have Hibernation, a more atmospheric track featuring spaced out breaks. This track is perfect to ease the crowd into a journey of a set.
Lastly, we have Arno on the remix of hibernation, sending us to space with this cosmic rendition. With alien like vocal samples and moody sweeps over a marching beat, this remix, much like the EP, does not disappoint.
The vinyl is finally available to buy at Black Round Twelve here.
