Stump, a Meoko crowd favourite is back and returning to the Steel Yard and FOLD in East London for 21 hours of elite sound. This February they are welcoming back internationally renowned artists for a two-part event across two venues. Following on from Stump’s latest event in November, the tried and tested formula has people coming back for more. Visual artist Coté will be transforming both venues into mesmerizing spaceships worthy of any rave. Tickets for February 19th are selling fast so be sure not to miss out. These quarterly parties have made quite a statement amongst the East London music scene, across the UK, and even beyond the globe with many people joining from international locations. We will also be in for a treat as Cotė will be handling the visuals as usual.
What differentiates this Stump event from any others is the lineup that is not only incredible but also brings a feeling of nostalgia to the Stump team. Barac will be returning the DJ booth just like when he played an intricate role in defining the early days of Stump events. He didn’t disappoint then and has since gone on to tour the world.
Joining him on the lineup of heavyweights includes Romanian favourite from the Sunrise Records family, Gescu. Cabanne will be hailing from France to deliver minimal techno with his usual deep French rolling touch. Joining straight from Andria in the south of Italy is Giuliano Lomonte also on the bill. Bringing a passion for music that coaxes him out of his gorgeous Mediterranean climes, taking us to new heights.
Last but not least the British will be making their mark on the night as well. Kearun, and Chrissy Hope all have a set carved out for them as well as local Stump residents and crew, Thierry, and Cally which will truly get the dance floor going.
As usual, the Stump atmosphere brings together quality music, appreciation for visual art, and energy within the crowd that radiates across the dance floor. With each Stump event, they continue to build their reputation, and it’s a pleasure to be a part of. Head to the Steelyard at 11 pm for an unforgettable Saturday night (and Sunday morning).
