Guy From Downstairs

Guy From Downstairs doesn’t stray too far from his minimalistic Romanian roots in MEOKO’s newest mix, 233. He’s worked with a number of record companies around the world including Melisma, Robsoul and Thirteen, which has helped him become recognized as one of the best DJs in his home country. He’s played in Kristal Club, Guestlist and Studio Martin, but it is his trippy, bodily basslines and colliding sounds (as demonstrated here) that are gaining him the support of artists such as tINI, Bill Patrick, Phil Weeks and Shaun Reeves as well as a global following. Having just released GFD002 to a phenomenal reception, it’s clear that there are still great things to come from this one.
