Having plied his trade in the capital for over 7 years, Frenchman Guilhem Monin now considers himself a proper Londoner. Throwing himself head first into the city's thriving party scene, Guilhem soon established himself as a staunch and dedicated member of the circuit, albeit from a position in front of the decks. That soon changed however, and in 2010 Guilhem was invited to become a resident of his beloved Lo*Kee. From there, he's played gigs all over Europe, from fabric to Berlin's Bar25 as well as his first release on Hot Waves last year. His latest venture sees the young DJ and producer get to the grips with the MEOKO podcast legacy, putting together a buoyant, house and disco-tinged 90 minute mix. Generous with the vocals and with plenty of groove, it's a snapshot into the musical mind of one of London's most revered young artists.
